Announcement    Welcome! We have cuddly stuffed slugs and their animal and monster friends to play with with and love, along with hand-sculpted, hand-painted, original, one-of-a-kind art dolls and figurines to collect and display.

All of my soft art toys are handmade by me with hand-stitched or hand-painted details, from my own original designs and patterns. Their hang tags can be personalized with a name or "For + a name" on the front, with room for a message on the back. I am happy to ship toys as gifts from you, directly to their new friends, along with a gift card if you would like. Just include a note for me during checkout, or use the "Contact" button in my shop.

I am currently making four sizes of Hug Me Slugs, for those who like to make slug families, with big and little siblings and parents. Hug Me Slug sizes: 7 inch, 8 inch, 9 inch, and 12 inch. If you don't see one in my shop in the size or color you are looking for, please feel free to check with me. I am always working on restocking my toy shop, and may have one you are looking for underway. If you send me a picture of anything in a color you like, I can see if I have fleece close to that color. Other creatures in my menagerie include Hug Me Bunnies, Hug Me Bugs, Hug Me Kittens, Hug Me Toads, Hug Me Monsters, superhero slugs and bunnies, superhero kittens, and Hug Me Sock Cats with skirts,

I have donated part of my shop sales to animal charities. A portion of my toy sales have helped out The House Rabbit Society, Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, Protective Animal Welfare Society (P.A.W.S.) in Kansas, Care For Bear, Triangle Rabbits, The Whiskers' Syndicate, Alley Cats and Angels, and our friend Cheryl's feral cat fund to care for community cats here in our area of NC. I donated $887.36 from my shop sales to charity for animals.

In 2018, I took over caring for the cats at one of Cheryl's cat colonies and took on relocating them, as the area where they lived became too busy with traffic. Some went to rescues, some went to a live on a farm, and some went directly to homes. The remaining cats have moved into our “La Maisonnette des Chats - The Little House of Cats.” They have their own house, and cat fence. The proceeds from my toys are being used for the cats.
